Premium Fragrances. Without the Luxury Price Tag.

Hi, I'm Jason, founder of MAKUZO and welcome to our new home.

I started MAKUZO in 2020 in New Braunfels, Texas, with a simple belief: you shouldn't have to spend a fortune to enjoy beautiful, luxurious fragrances.

I wanted to create premium, hand-poured candles with rich, sophisticated scents that make your home feel special. The kind you look forward to lighting after a long day, giving as a thoughtful gift, or sharing during moments with people you love.

Because to me, a great candle doesn't just change how a room smells. It changes how a moment feels.

From Etsy to Homes Across America

What started as a small Etsy shop has grown into a brand I'm incredibly proud of.

Since 2020, we've sold over 30,000 candles to nearly 8,000 customers across the United States, earned Etsy Star Seller recognition, and received hundreds of customer reviews.

We've also had the privilege of creating candles for businesses throughout the Texas Hill Country and Greater San Antonio area, including Haywire, Whiskey Cake, George's Keep, Two Rivers Coffee, and Casa Creek, with plans to expand across Texas.

As we grew, I wanted MAKUZO to have a home of its own, where we could introduce new collections and connect directly with our customers. That's why we created MakuzoHome.co.

Our website may be new, but MAKUZO isn't. We've been earning our customers' trust since 2020.

Made With Purpose. Meant to Be Experienced.

Every MAKUZO candle is hand-poured in small batches in Texas, using thoughtfully selected fragrances and our signature wax blend.

From timeless, sophisticated scents to fragrances inspired by cultures and memories around the world, we create candles that bring a little luxury into everyday life.

Our philosophy has always been simple: People. Passion. Purpose. People are the heart of everything we do. Passion is poured into every candle we create. Purpose is creating fragrances that turn everyday moments into lasting memories.

I'm grateful to everyone who's supported MAKUZO over the years, and I hope our fragrances become part of the moments you'll remember.

With gratitude,

Jason Gatsby
