Each woodwick candle is meticulously hand-poured in small batches, infused with the finest quality essential oils. Every candle is crafted right here in New Braunfels, Texas.

My journey into candle-making began as a quest to rediscover happiness. Trapped in a mundane 9 to 5 job, I found myself questioning if this was all there was to life. Deep within, I knew there had to be something more fulfilling beyond the daily grind. So, like many others during the pandemic, I took the opportunity to pause, reflect, and pursue my passion. I joined the wave of individuals who left their desk jobs to follow their dreams. And thus, Makuzo was born, launching on Etsy as a testament to reclaiming joy through creation.
